IATF2018 Ambassadors

African superstar, professional footballer, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Mr. Didier Drogba, has been appointed as an IATF 2018 Goodwill Ambassador. Mr. Drogba has extensive business interests in Africa and abroad and has used his Didier Drogba Foundation as a vehicle to bring about change in levels of education as well as access to healthcare on the Continent.

Ambassador Abdelmoniem Mohamed Mahmoud Ismail, Secretary General of Arab Union for Industrial Exports Development, is an IATF 2018 Active Ambassador, bringing his extensive experience in various ministerial offices to the role.

Mr. Shankar is the Chief Executive Officer of Gateway Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing in the dynamic growth markets of Africa, Middle East and Asia. He is also non-executive director of Dangote Cement PLC, Nigeria, Enterprise Singapore and Gateway Delta Development Holdings, Mauritius; and on the advisory board of Institute of Societal Leadership at Singapore Management University.

Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, also known by his stage name, D’banj, has been appointed as an IATF Goodwill Ambassador. He is a multi-award-winning performer, hailing from Nigeria. His list of accolades includes 13 international awards. He is also an entrepreneur, music producer and song writer. Dr Agostinho Kapaia

Dr Agostinho Kapaia, is CEO of the Opaia Group, based in Angola. The Opaia Group has interests in a number of sectors including civil construction services, solar energy technology, drinking water systems and the hospitality service industry. Dr Kapaia is one of Angola’s most innovative and highly regarded young entrepreneurs. In addition to his personal business interests, he is also actively engaged in promoting his country’s export profile through his leadership since 2013 of the Community of Exporting and Internationalized Companies of Angola (CEEIA).

Mr Rakesh Wahi

Rakesh Wahi, IATF 2018 Goodwill Ambassador, South Africa, is the founder of the ABN Group, a media holding company for CNBC Africa and Forbes Africa; the co-founder of Transnational Academic Group, an education group that includes Murdoch University Dubai, Curtin University Dubai and Lancaster University Ghana; and the co-founder and chairman of Tech One Global, a Microsoft partner in six Asian countries.
